A project my dad and I worked on over a winter break was a coat hanger for
our entry way at home. My mom had wanted one for a while and had some mirror panels to put in one. We made
the hanger out of oak and stained it walnut. In this project, we tried a new joint type for embedding the mirror
into it. We used a raised panel door router bit setup which made very clean joints. Another aspect about this project
that turned out nicely was the way we hid the wall mounting screws which is done behind the trim under the shelf.
